Cotes Cottage – Summer vs Winter










After I visited the cottage for the first time, alone, I had an awful nightmare that night, that I went back and there was a hacked up corpse on the sofa. The next day I forced myself to go back, I knew if I didn’t, there would always be a corpse there in my mind. I shuffled in to find the sofa hacked up, an axe sitting on top. To this day I still feel the shivers down my spine when I think about it.






Unfortunately I have never been able to find much history on the property. I have always just imagined that the owner had passed away and had no family to take over the cottage. You can see from the photos how much the property has deteriorated within a couple of seasons. The chances of it resisting the ravages of nature much longer are slim.
