So I was checking out an abandoned mill one lunchtime at work when my phone buzzed. It was a call from Sky News who were doing a piece on UE. I saw being in an abandoned building at the moment they called to be a good omen so decided to go for it. A day later they rocked up at the mill, filmed me, and two days after that it went out.

The piece was focused around explorers doing it for 'likes' or sponsorship deals. So they had:
Martin Dixon from Subbrit: Who always gets permission to visit sites.
Matthew Adams of Unexposed Exploration: Who regularly sells pieces to national papers, and has gained sponsorship from an energy drinks company. Most of the 'high up' footage on the article was his, but went uncredited. Naughty Sky.
Dr Bradley Garret: Who makes a living from his Urbex books, and teaching its philosophy.
UrbanX: Who has never made a penny off of UE, never sold to a paper or TV, never has and never would accept a sponsorship. He doesn't have a Facebook group, or an Instagram, and doen't know what a Twitter is. Eek.

Being TV land, they only included a few seconds of speech from UrbanX.
