184. Aldwych Revisit
Managed to get to a few areas I missed on my Original Visit
I'm sure you all know the history of this disused station, if not Wiki it / check the link above.

Between Holborn and Aldwych:

Shuttered off lift pit:

Inside the lift pit:

Inside the lift pit looking up:

Unfinished area to the rear of the lift pits:

Decay:

The rule of thumb with the posters at Aldwych is: The older they look, the newer they are!
So these wartime era posters are fake reproductions:

But the more recent posters from the 1970's are original:

I was lucky enough to enter this passageway in pitch darkness.
However.... The bottom three rows of tiles, which appear slightly differently here, are completely glow in the dark!

Unfortunately I couldn't get a decent photo as it was still really dark down there!
The glow in the dark paint continued down the stairs:
Tunnels:

Platform 1, has a train permanently moored up for filming purposes:

Keep clear of the doors:

Platform 2, looking towards Holborn (through that door):

Note the tiling test panels on the right at the end!
Stairs up to the ticket hall. As lovely as it is, I covered this last time, so didn't really want to see it again.

Cheers for looking:
