04. Hotel Polissya
I was reluctant to even post any photos of this at all as it’s such a tourist hotspot, everyone goes here. But it was the first building in the zone I ever went in, so do have a bit of a soft spot for it!
Not that tourists were queuing to come to Pripyat in the 80’s (ironically probably more tourists come here now) But with a major power plant just a couple of Km away it would have been busy with visiting delegates / scientists.
The ‘A’ which has fallen off the roof, I bet that made a noise…

2014 Update:
I'd never looked for roof access on my first visit - but older and wiser(?) that was the first thing I looked for on my last visit!
To the roof:
