44. Redoubt Revisit
I love this place, it’s the main battery for the London Defence Scheme. So when I was with some fantastic company and we were passing it’d be rude not to pop in and have a wander.

We started with the graffiti filled buildings at the front which were owned by Marconi’s.
While we were there we ran into the four artists which had created the main piece. They explained that they were going to roller over the whole thing and paint up a new one for Halloween! While I never condone graf, these buildings don’t have a square inch that isn’t covered and they were only going over their old work.
Right, onto the imposing gates that guard where the main armoury used to be:
It was a beautiful day, and the light was fantastic. As it was a revisit, I had a bit more time to just chill out and soak up the place. (Oh, and do a lot more self portraits :p)
Oh I forgot to put this one up last time. I insisted on calling it the ANDY Williams turret, and sang ‘watching the girls go by’ every time we passed it…
